Arranged Marriage
They turned pale and sucked a bottle's neck.
Eagerly waiting at the doorway,
once she had welcoming eyes full of glare,
Looking at the same door with fear-filled eyes,
Now her eyes don't even dare to stare.
She was obsessed with the smell of his hardworking sweat.
Now she holds her breath, Like a hare stuck in a forest flare.
Once blush on her cheeks is now bruises soo red.
She pleaded with the same hands once she fed.
Soaking his liver in a toxin, he abused her and went to bed.
Soaked in her tears, she bent her neck, bearing that thread.
On their anniversary, as a usual day,
She was lying on the floor in an unusual way.
She looked like a crushed flower;
still, her fragrance was in the air.
It was the first time he touched to wake her up in a gentle way,
Too late for him, She didn't close her eyes but was asleep the eternal way.
Their walls once got cracks out of his shouting.
Now her silence echoed in the corners all day.
Her father always promised her a happy place,
Her search was over when she reached the place with "Death" written on its doorway.
